  Sarah is a free spirited faery. She loves nature, glittery things and cobwebs. She spends most of her hours creating art with fabric, fibers and paint.
In her art,  Sarah is intrigued by texture. She makes beautiful wall hangings, handbags, and occasional fantasy costume accessories. She wants to create art that can be touched. Her work is made up of layer upon layer, representing the complexities of the spirit intertwined with nature. Faeries are a definite inspiration! Painted faces are surrounded by layers of fabric and various fibers, all held together with thread. She loves the collage aspect in contrast to the painting. The tactile quality of her work process, her hands manipulating the fibers, is an important experience for her as the end product. She is  taken away to a magical dream world when she creates.

Famous for her one-of-a-kind bags and quilts, but she also makes amazing things like shoes and other accessories. Take a look at some of her wonderful creations.
